...It really did not start with Astronomy divine & neither does it end with Louder than words! Neither was it meant to be ...

I started listening to Pink Floyd as a teen... Thanks to my sister she procured the Divison Bell album!!! I don't recount the early years listening to it as to what it made me feel, what impression did it have on my mind but gradually it was more of an addiction!!! And it grew with the times... Tracks like Wearing the Inside out, Mar00ned, Lost for words...go way too deep within me... it hits the every part of the body equally. The passion grew & so I hoped to get all the other tracks as I could... The Syd Barett/ Waters era was quite unknown to me earlier in time that's the reason I always turned to Gilmour/ Wright/ Mason initially. However, as I went back in time to trace the Band's first steps... I found that their music could be a source of religion too for many different people!!!

The feeling & reasons with which these albums or rather tracks were developed by Syd, Roger, David, Richard & Nick as the group is astonishing... As one of the first psychedelic rock groups, they became legendary because of the very mystical ability to come up with what they were supposed to do! Yes, the group did split up in the beginning & middle... Yet the sheer brilliance did not end with one person's absence. 

The quality of music produced used a wide range of musical instruments ... electronically mixing is way out of the league... Lyrics too have a life of its own merely with a broader sound escape factor! The music has changed many different forms - from starting as Space rock, hard rock, sometimes blues...to country & folk as well electronic. Nobody could simply simplify the type of music produced by them in the entire period from 1967 - 2014!!! I'd say that it was psychedelic in the starting ... took a lot of turns from the types mentioned in bold above. Still is Psychedelic but also progressive in nature...

A Piece of God for me too!

OH GOD!

Who is he? Where does he hail from? Or is He the supreme being who is principal object of Faith for people? 

GOD has & is always been considered as the attribute of perfect knowledge, unlimited power, present everywhere with divine simplicity and is completely eternal. 

Singer Joan Osborne tries to explain in her track - "What if God was one of us"!!! Her song has impressed me since the very time it got released. It gives an embodiment to God as a common man who is trying to make his way to heaven abode as his home & people from Earth are trying to connect to him as always. 

Like the entire population, I too have been made to believe & worship Him as the Supreme being. His presence was put in me from the very small area in our household with hands folded to the various temples, gurudwaras, churches & other numerous houses of worship where people perform rituals to make Him happy. Some of practices to make Him happy are weird but still is chosen by the followers since 

But this so called instilled worshiping faith is growing no more with age. Rather it is being converted into natural realm. He now seems to me as the 1 who is present everywhere in the natural environment - trees, plants, animal as even the common man. He is present everywhere. Every man, woman & child has a God in him. Underlying truth is that he is in all the living beings & all those natural elements which support Life. Sometime He is the sunlight, then becomes the Rain to transform into the Rivers. The human cycle continues on & on ... for everybody, so it does for this God...

Some might say this is lame but to me its a perfect scenario of optimism... all for a favorable result. The result in this case cannot be quantified or expressed at the present.

I am neither a writer nor an author; only someone with some opinions on a few topics on which a handful or no one would interfere upon easily. I might not be able to make complete sense in the beginning too.

To me Life as it stands today be is this wide open field ...
